'Polygonal Tessellation' is a study on polygonal spirals and tessellations. Since I started making digital art in 2017, I have been interested in patterns that appear when iterating shapes, as well as tiling the plane with different shapes.
These two artworks are generated from the same code, and have the exact same basis. Just one parameter is different, resulting in a different way how the shapes break.
Both 'Polygonal Tessellations' are listed on Foundation as a single edition NFT (PNG file, 9000 x 9000).
They are named I - A & B, because I imagined making a series of different types of 'polygonal tessellations', which I could number with I, II, etc. And for each different type, I could craft a few different variations. Other works in this series have not been published yet.
